Validation of billing address in checkout will be possible. Reject Packing Stations as billing address The post checkout validation of the billing address, will not be covered by this update as the Shopify API does not currently allow extensions to write to the billing address fields.

Exclude missing house number check for specific countries
While house numbers are required in some countries, they are optional in others. For example, in the UK some addresses simply don't have a house number and therefore making the input mandatory should be avoided. Customers would still receive Shopify's native hint “Add a house number if you have one”, but the checkout wouldn't be blocked.

Introduce Time-Limit to Edit Shipping Address
After the customer completes the checkout an order is created in Shopify. Depending on the individual logistic workflows of each merchant the time to edit an order, specifically the address, is limited. At some point the shipping address of the Shopify order is fetched from the ERP system / third-party-logistics partner to fulfill the order. With the fulfillment workflow in progress, it wouldn’t make sense to make changes to the shipping address in the Shopify system. Therefore, we introduced a setting that merchants can configure a time limit for how long the shipping address can be edited after the order was completed.

Self-Service Feature to Edit Shipping Address
You can now allow customers to edit their shipping address after checkout. This is useful if the customer completes the checkout via an express payment method where an old address was saved and the customer wants to update his address.
